Thanks, fnaqzna. I hate coming across like I'm following some kind of trend. In fact, there was a chicago photographer who did this a couple years ago, but he photographed a person a day for one year. I used to have his site bookmarked, but I don't seem to have it anymore. His street portraits came out very well.

Thank you, Elph. our bedroom window faced west. We watched some amazing sunsets from our balcony as we were lucky enough to not have our view blocked to the west too badly. I photographed many sunsets but a lot of them turned out fairly bland. A lot of the buildings in the foreground were already in the shadows while the hazy sunlight was still hitting the buildings to the west of where we were. I liked that there is a gradient effect to the way the light fell on this.
