Hey Guys

Thought id share NYE 2008 in Dubai.

while i expected the fireworks to be much more spectacular, they were actually quite modest and miniature by Dubais' standards. everything here seems to be the best, biggest, tallest, most, richest, most expensive etc.

It by no means rivals Sydneys fireworks. ive spent NYE on Sydney Harbour and its is quite breathtaking and awe inspiring..it really is.

And while i do think that there will come a time when Dubais fireworks will out do everybody else, this years was good..but maybe it was just my expectations that let me down.

nevertheless, i took a few good pics.. enjoy the fireworks with the Burj al Arab as the backdrop
