I'm a much better PC shooter, and CS/Battlefield were my favorite games for a long time. But the cheats and hardware advantages got old.
And if you crank the sensitivity up on a console, you can whip around just as fast.

I'd never be able to play the twitch game like I am able to with the mouse, I never mastered those controllers.
Not dealing with potential cheats is a plus, though I did find some well monitored servers, and I have pretty much the best current hardware, so I'm good there.
Now back to the game.
I practiced whoring with the m16 a bit and it took me a while to get the hang of it. On a well organized server (all in the same clan but 2 of us) I gave up with an even ratio before going back to the p90/saw whore.
Then I found where the m16 just shines. Bigger maps with 20+ people. Its like a sniper + good close ranged weapon as well. You will lose at point blank to a good sub machine gunner and only if you miss your first burst. I just came off as my teams kill leader two games in a row on a size 32 deathmatch server (with a good kd ratio) using only the m16. It is a bit more of a camper weapon though as you can't hose down a room.
I'm not sure how it is on the console side, but we get 5 favorites and I'm doing 2 p90's set ups, 1 m16 1 saw and currently right now a silenced m16 for those more strategic games.
