If you do what willravel said, you've only attempted half of the fix. The other half is to try a
new profile. This is a step beyond the "safe mode" that was suggested on MozZine; it removes all extensions, preferences, settings, etc. The site seems to work for other people, so the problem is likely to be somewhere on your end. (It works for me, but I'm using the nightly builds that will become Firefox 3, so that's of no real use to you.)
And the rant? Well, it seemed a bit off-topic to me. But no one on MozZine has criticized you for the rant (and I've seen it there), so I guess no harm no foul.
