If I'm not mistaken, the Rangers have the highest payroll in the nhl and they are not a very good team. Holik was a good pickup for them but they need to revamp the whole team IMO. Hell look at Ottawa, they went bankrupt and they won the presidents trophy.. but it's because they know what they need to focus on like you said.... maybe the rangers need a new front office and a new coach.. till then at least I have someone to laugh at in the nhl j/k

Yes and no. I think the Knicks have talent problems. They just don't have the horses. The Rangers have tried to buy a team, but failed to buy a coach. I am not a Sather fan at all. He did pretty well coaching them, but every other coach he hired has SUCKED. Low? To coach the Rangers? Trottier? Two first year coaches for a team of vets? We need Iron Mike to come back, but that is not the kind of coach Sather wants. He wants a guy like Herb Brooks, a coaching legend...but back when the NHL was all scoring. Give me Iron Mike and we will be a lot closer to winning the Cup (or at least the playoffs).
