Plus, you
don't have to beat the crap out of them. They register a tap just as well as a bang. Real drummers don't beat their drums with all their strength... why should you beat the hell out of a game controller?
On high enough levels, the drums FEEL like playing drums. It's very nice. The "drum fill" feature is AWESOME.
The biggest disappointment, though, is the number and selection of tunes. I zoned out from contemporary rock about five or ten years ago. As a result, I know maybe six or eight songs on this game. It was that way with everybody at our New Years party. We must have done "Creep" thirty times. Makes it tough.
I will say, though, "Foreplay/Long Time" is a fucking BRILLIANT addition.
