Wow, I don't remember ever hearing or seeing anything about either of those. I may have been in my foreign film appreciation/obsession period during those years.
I do remember "IT" as a very scary film from my childhood. I'm not sure if Steven King redid It more recently, but if he did it, I didn't see that one.
