I have two conflicting thoughts on this. On the one hand, this shit is just FUNNY, especially the proposed headline, Daniel_.
On the other hand, who buys this shit for their prepubescent daughter? I'm all for the holiday underwear and all (I put Max in his Santa pajamas last night, for god's sake), but when did it become a parent's job to turn their kid into a sex object. Given what these things look like, I don't see any other choice but that term.
I don't even want to think about your post, Ottopilot. That stuff bothers me down to my core. Max loves to read catalogs, and there's one that has bath stuff for kids. The picture sets are disturbing. The boys are doing normal kid-stuff, and there are dinosaurs, trucks, planes, etc. on their towels and what not. The girls stuff features a girl that can't be older than 7 peeking out from behind a shower curtain with what I can only describe as a provocative look on her face. She's bare at the shoulder, and the implication is that she's naked behind the curtain. There are other little girls with hips thrust out like street walkers and all sorts of stuff that really bothers me.
When did Western Culture start to make sex objects of our little girls?
