The mpg's quoted are no joke, the car got 22.23 mpg with easy driving. After realizing that flooring it wasn't going to get us anywhere faster I took it easy figuring I'd get close to 40 mpg, even with an auto trans. Bobby, I love the Geo pic, but even the Metro is more solidly built than our rental was. I closed the rear door with my hip and it dented! It popped back out after opening it again and slamming it shut, very carefully. The whole car started rocking at a red light, the problem was traced to my 105 lb. daughter in the back seat keeping time to the radio with her foot.
