in fact, once i bought the XBox, i hardly ever touched the PS2.
i have a 360 now but havent sprung for the PS3 yet. is there as big a difference between the two with this generation?
i know its mostly subjective but just looking for some input.

The controllers are more or less the same in this generation. This is actually likely one of my top pro-Xbox reasonings (and also what I hear many pro-PS guys say makes them pro-PS). I LOVED the S-Controller. Got a USB adapter for it and used it on my PC as well. The 360 controllers are roughly the same with some streamlining and addition. FOR ME, it's a great fit, size-wise and ergonomically. With the new Dual Shock controllers coming out, I think the PS3 will be in the same boat, controller wise. It's the same fell, maybe a touch heavier. So, form a controller standpoint, if you liked the PS2 controller, you will like the PS3 controller. If you like the S-Controller, you will almost assuredly like the 360 controller (which can also work wirelessly or wired with your PC).
