I will be returning from the Surge in Iraq. My Unit and fellow GI's want to know why the liberals and democrats done everything they can to hurt us and undermine the surge. At least 95% of the troops here are very upset. We know what support looks like and we are certainly not getting it from the left in our own country. Why?
Why is the press so bent on our losing the war? Why will they not tell the truth about Iraq? CNN lies to ythe American public an a daily basis. There's nothing of the good things we do, nothing on the progress we have had .... only vitriol, undermining, and terrorist sympathy.
Why do the liberals sound exactly like the terrorists; exactly like Alcazars - Americans sounding and just like the enemy.. We are here fighting terrorists so you don't have to at home and you liberals are doing all you can to hurt us. <h3>We don't get it.</h3> The US is in a fight and so many of you are doing all you can to hurt us.
The distain we have for liberals is so great. They help the terrorists, give away secrets, talk about us as baby killers and call us terrorists ourselves. Why? Our own people are undermining us while they baby the terrorists. The troops are very upset, and very disgusted. We would laugh every time we here liberals say, "we support the troops" if it were not so pathetic. As I said, we know what support looks like and liberal support ain't it.
The above is spoken for almost all the troops - the following is speaking only for me. I will never again call a liberal an American. Americans don't cut and run, Americans don't turn their back on their families, Americans don't plaster our secrets to the enemy, Americans don't quit, Americans don't side with our enemies. Many, if not all, Liberals no longer deserve to be called Americans - they are traitors.

Is it reasonable to believe, as you do, that it was just Bush's and Powell's "bad luck" that every significant Iraqi "threat" touted by Powell and Bush in Feb., 2003, turned out not to rise to a level justifying military invasion...WMD, mobile (trailer mounted) bio-weapons labs, Iraqi government "relations" with al-Zarqawi and al-Qaeda, or is it reasonable to believe that Bush authorized and participated in an agenda of aggressive war against Iraq?

.....What will become of "our troops" when they return home? Will it be ranting on about "liberal traitors" for the next fifty years, as their older, like minded fellows are immersed in doing?
At least impeachment would yield a record in the house investigation and in a senate trial. This is going to proceed just as Vietnam did. We are all Jane Fonda, now.....
