Afraid my only real contribution to this thread is to say choosing between the two really comes down to your preference for the exclusives. Sony will have plenty soon enough, 360 has plenty already, but it's almost solely personal taste when it comes to having one or the other. I have a 360 because i couldn't live without mass effect, gears, Halo and Bioshock etc.
Also, 'The Darkness' is incredible! The fighting mechanics might not be the best ever, but it has one of the best told stories (not to mention the plot itself being brilliant) i've seen in a game for a long, long time. Pick it up on the cheap and trade it in afterwards, but it's still so, so underrated.
