I started masturbating when I was around 8. Never discussed it with anybody until I was in college, however, and still don't discuss it with most people IRL.
It's not usually a topic that just comes up. It's just a given that everybody does it, probably fairly regularly and sometimes with the use of toys and/or porn. *shrug* I don't see the point of discussion.
