Alberto Fujimori was convicted today and sentenced to 6 years.

He still has two more trials to go for other crimes too. Was justice served? I always believed he was guilty and their court systems has deemed so as well. I was especially angry that he fled to Japan and was harbored there. As such, I feel the Japanese are complicit to his crimes too for obstruction of justice.
I must admit, I wasn't too sure the Peruvian justice system would prevail and thought he would get off scot free but to my surprise, they actually convicted him.
What do you think? Justice served? Got off too light? Did the international justice system work this time to bring him to justice?
