I believe that the universe has existed forever, and that it will continue to exist forever. I believe that the human experience is no more than chemical interactions and particles obeying the same rules as everything else, but I respect life as highly as the devoutly religious with the exception that I do not believe that life begins at conception. I believe that we will kill ourselves off within my lifetime, but that it is unforgivably egotistical to think that we are so great as to be able to destroy anything more than ourselves. I believe that in time, the Earth will return to a healthy state in which a new dominant species will evolve and fail to learn from our mistakes, wiping themselves out as we will.
