I got into SL not really knowing if I would play... that was August 2006 and I'm still playing. It's fun to drop like 5 USD in the game and buy some cool stuff. In total I haven't spent more than I would in ONE night of drinking with my buddies, so I can stomach spending 5 bucks every few weeks on something that's a really whacked out picture of human creativity in a virtual capacity.
I have seen some of the strangest things ever in SL
