I still have parts off my first car, too, including some not so easy to find parts. Luckily a friend is restoring his '66 XKE so the parts will have a good new home.

My second car was less traumatic than my first car story above. It was stolen from practically in front of my house but I didn't bother reporting it since I only paid $100 for it and already got 40k miles out of it; a couple weeks later it showed up in the same condition, parked in about the same spot from where it was stolen, so I gave it to my buddy since I already replaced it with a high-dollar $600 '64 Buick LeSabre with a Wildcat V8 ...I liked that 3rd car.
