The best sheets I ever had were from France.
600 thread ct. cotton, sateen finish. They have lasted for years and keep getting softer with age yet stay smooth crisp and cool.
There is a close-out type of store here in the U.S called Tuesday Mornings.
I would not have been able to afford them otherwise.
Those Modal sheets sound interesting.I don't know how the fibers hold up after time.
