I'm one of those 'over 40+'s' and I have no problem with guys with long hair-most times I'm jealous of it!
Depending on what kind of impression you want to make in your career, it might be best to get a haircut. If it's three inches longer than the photo, you could lop off a 10 inch ponytail and send it to Locks of Love. That way, you won't feel so bad getting it cut and the ladies will love you even more with "Ooh!!! You're so generous and kind hearted!!"
