The Mach 3 does very well for me. Every once in a while, I'll shave with the disposable Bic at the gym and am always underwhelmed.
I sometimes shave with an electric on the weekends since I can usually multitask while using it (read: chasing a toddler). I cannot get as good a shave, particularly on my neck, with the electric. My cheeks are usually about the same (possibly better), but the historic criticism (not just from me) about the electric is that it is impossible for anyone with a significant amount of stubble on their necks to get a close shave.
