I got a motorcycle. It makes me happy but it is stock and thus must be heavily modified to the point of causing busted knuckles and insanity.
I bought an '03 Sabre, put DG Kickers on it, and a bunch of Ooo-Shiny from CruiserCustomizing. I did my first thousand miles this summer.
Has anybody ever seen a bike with Line-X spray-on bedliner (
http://www.linex.com/xtra.shtml) used to cover the fenders / tank instead of paint? I've had various parts of my pickup covered with the stuff and thought it was absolutely great for a no-maintenance, rugged look. They now have this newer product called Line-X Xtra that utilizes an additional layer of DuPont Kevlar that can be colored to match your desires.
Thinking that I want a "post-apocalyptic Road Warrior" theme to my bike and that rough-textured flat gray fenders / tank would be unique as a start.
Comments and suggestions are definitely desired.
