Logitech makes great mice. I'm using an MX500; my only complaint about it is that the paint is starting to wear off from use. I've had it that long.
Their cordless mice are great; I recommend them regularly and have yet to see any major issues.
Since you specify that it has to be ambidextrous, the LX7 is probably the best choice for you. The 610 is a specifically left-handed design and is shaped accordingly. If you're left-handed yourself that will mean greater comfort, but if you share the PC with any right-handed folks they will have trouble using the 610 comfortably.
