I just finished watching all the episodes in a row over the last couple of days.
Wow.
Why didn't I start watching sooner?
I agree with a lot of you that Hiro started wearing thin with his future self, but I don't think that was a fault. We weren't really supposed to like "future Hiro". He was a totally different guy, with different ideals and agendas, etc.
I also agree that the brother/sister team (who are Dominican, btw, not Mexican) is pretty much totally lame. I'll grant you that it makes for a pretty interesting "oh my God, what will Sylar do with THIS power" kind of plot line, and he needs to have a legitimate story for getting back to New York (not just "ok i'm here in NY now, I drove up with some lame characters no one cares about). Still, I think they've put way too much screen time into them because they're just really not that interesting. I think it's more about keeping Sylar on everyone's minds and the only way to do that is more scenes with the "nobody gives a shit about your character arc" sibling combo.
Elle is massively hot and totally sociopathic. She's awesome. I hope her character sticks around for a bit.
And the idea that Adam is like 400 years old makes perfect sense. If your body can heal by regenerating cells, that means no cell death. No cell death means nothing breaks down, weakens, or gets old. The cells would continually replenish. They could be immortal, really.
