I'm not sure it's totally valid to make a generalization about the genders from your own feelings about a single incident. And frankly, what you described wasn't rape, it was sex that you regret. Legally is one thing, and the law is very protective of women when it comes to rape and being drunk and all that, which is why I feel the distinction you're drawing is primarily a legal one.
