I think that is the case. We should also note that he faced two of the best offenses in the Major Leagues during the playoffs. With the exception of Beckett, almost every big time major league pitcher that has logged at least a few postseason starts has a higher postseason ERA in comparison to regular season ERA. Hitters appear to be more patient with shortened swings in the postseason. Thats just an opinion.
