It sounds like mid-cycle breakthrough bleeding. It happens when you ovulate--even if your birth control prevents actual ovulation, you can still bleed because of the slight hormonal changes.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. If your ring is still in and where it should be, you should be okay. If you're still bleeding profusely come Monday, go see a GP. Otherwise, just wait for it to stop.
