anyone else find it strange that Bond's gets indited the same day his personal trainer gets out of prison??
So now we have A-rod kissing the Steinbrenner's asses without Boras. Wonder why? I guess he finally realized that there wasn't the market out there that he thought there was. Boras looks like a fucking idiot right now. I hope A-Rod does stay in a yankees uniform. He's what is wrong with that team.
Also, goddamn, they sure paid a hell of a lot of money to keep Rivera. Now I know Rivera is probably the greatest closer of all time, but it seems his best days are behind him. Add that to the fact that he just can't beat the Bo'Sox when it matters anymore.. and I don't know if I'd have spent that much on him. But then.. it is the skanks.. they love to overpay.
I thought the yanks were in a new era?? They sure seem to be doing alot of the same old shit .. they won't have much money to spend on younger players if they keep on.. and yeah.. they can say what they want about their farm team.. it's not shit compared to the Bo'Sox farm system.
