Yeah, Versed doesn't put you down, it's mostly an amnesiac so you don't remember what happened. They wouldn't have a reason to use Versed if you were under.
Example: I helped hold a guy while they popped his arm back into the socket. From a few moments before the versed went in, until the expected wear-off time, he had no memory. He was finally coming around and kept asking when we were going to start. I had to keep telling him we'd already done it. Meanwhile, the process itself involved him yelling a lot and acting generally pretty unhappy. If you remember anything at all, it's because it started to wear off a little before they gave you another dose. Versed is generally pretty good at keeping the memory gone.
