Problem with that first link is: they're all VGA to S-Video or Component. I can't do S-Video or component, I'm doing old-school 1990s VIDEO signal--the yellow one of a red-black-yellow RCA cable. I haven't found a way to convert DVI or VGA to that.

I have an auto-switching, RF-adapting A-B switch (takes two lines of RCA video, and puts out coax that can go to the TV). I plan to run into that.
