I think you're a little confused on the point I was making. Regardless of what the definition of atheism says, you've implied that I can be an atheist and still accept the Jesus as the son of God. Never mind the fact that the two are contradictory, admitting to being an atheist is enough to make me an atheist. At least this seems to be the stance you've taken with Christianity. Christian literally means
follower of Christ and his teachings, not the
worship of Christ. Therefore, if you're not following the teaching of Christ it would stand to reason that you're not a Christian.

Or does that mean I can start a new brand of Islam which doesn't adhere to the teaching of Muhammad? lol
