High school wrestling its mandatory to take showers, (at least at my school and should be at all schools) because of the prevelance of ringworm.
A few of the folks would shower then get dressed and thats that. Most of us would walk around naked, coaches coming in and out, whatever else happened happened... it was a big nude party taking 45 minute showers, neverending hot water.
I know at the Y though, we worked out there too on weekends, most all of us would get it done and get dressed, so I think it has something to do with the older people just being there that represses the normal mindset of the younger people.
