In the spirit of this discussion, which is essentially asking "you have 6 hours to live, what will you do?" ... i'd try to contact as many friends as possible, tell them what they mean to me, and say goodbye.
i understand that this is a hypothetical question, but from a more rational perspective, it's highly unlikely that this scenario could ever happen. Well, to clarify, an asteroid that's capable of an extinction-level event wouldn't just pop out of nowhere. There would be some prep-time, and the key to surviving that is to build underground bunkers.
