This is the only instant replay I'd really go for. Sure there could be a use for it on plate calls, but the majority of the time (not including the major missed call for the Rockies this year) the umps get those right. I would have loved the instant replay this year when they took away the home run Manny hit against the Indians.. at least Boston still won.
As far as the other proposals on the board.. (number of times batter can step out, plate visits etc) those need to be shot in the foot before they're even brought to the table. People know games take forever. Big fucking deal. I don't know why Baseball would even consider this move to make the game shorter when longer games means more advertising dollars for them.
As far as Curt goes.. he has transformed himself into more of a control pitcher.. but I'm just a little worried about him being the next Roger Clemens. The man already had major issues this past season.. I would rather have let Curt go back out west and tried to secure Santana. Santana is young, and while he didn't have the same year he had a year ago.. he still brings alot to the table.
