The car will not debut with the LS2 -
There are strong rumors a GXP version of the G8 will have the LS2, but they are indeed just rumors at this point
The G8 will have two packages at launch:
Base
3.6 L LY7 V6 - 261 HP
GT
6.0 L L76 V8 - 362 HP
Either way, this seems like an awesome car. I'd love to see the GXP rumor prove to be true!
I've been a fan of the G6 ever since I rode in a rental. It was a very nice car.
