I really don't have any strong feelings one way or the other about this thread. I've had physical relationships with plenty of women, some of which had many wonderful features excluding great beauty.
The OP is a sort of cruel way to say something nice: looks aren't everything. Many, many, many women (or for the ladies, many men) who may not be very attractive can be wonderful and fascinating people that can brighten your life and earn your affection, be it emotional or physical, without having to be traditionally beautiful. That's it. Yes, it was said in a Sam Kinison manner, but so what?
