Here's my only direct paranormal experience. It's so minor that you'll probably snicker at me, but being an engineer, it's very significant to me.
When my wife and I were dating, we used to spend a lot of time on the phone because she lived 50 miles away. One night we had been talking for some hours, when we decided it was way past time to be in bed. We said our goodnights and hung up the phone, but I heard her say "Oh, wait!" So I diled her back again. Only as it was ringing, I realized that it was in just the order I wrote it: I had hung up the phone and then heard her say "Oh, wait!" And I also realized that I didn't hear it with my ears. It was clear as anything, her voice, in my head, but there hadn't been sound. She picked up the phone, and I didn't quite know what to say. Sheepishly, I said "Um, did you say "Oh, wait!" right as we hung up just now?" There was a long pause. She said, "No, I didn't say it, but right after I hung up I thought it. I remembered something I wanted to tell you." Every hair on my entire body stood straight up. (and that's a lot of hair). It was the strangest experience I've ever had, and there's no "logical" explanation for it.
