See, now I can definitely agree with that being a bad reason for having a threesome, but so would everyone else on this thread.
I really see threesomes as catalysts for whatever is ultimately happening in the relationship... either it's already going downhill, and thus going downhill fast after that happens... or it's going uphill, and it just takes off from the point on. No one can say that all relationships will react in the same way to the same stimulus... it all depends on the pre-existing conditions, to use insurance talk.
