What do you mean you don't see why it's that impressive? I would think a NASCAR guy would be the quickest to appreciate this. It's impressive because every minute that they spend doing zero miles per hour at a gas station, in traffic, whatever, must be equaled by a much higher speed to average the 90. When I drive to work, there are about 15 miles where I can (and do) do 80mph or more, but there are a few miles on each end where there are stoplights, towns and traffic, so even though I'm doing a respectable speed for the majority of the trip, my average speed is probably under 50 or 60.
