Being honest guys, all i do is run about 6-7 miles every two days. I was almost 200lbs, then my friend who happens to be a bodybuilder said to me: drink 64 oz of water during the first 8 hours of your day, i mean after you wake up, then eat little bowl size portions of food. NOT ONE OR MORE EVERYTIME, instead 6 times a day, combining all sorts of stuff that is good and not so good, because some things might have stuff you need, and some don't have anything but little in proteins, necessary fats and stuff.
After that, i started running for 3 miles almost every day. Then, i was at 145lbs in two months. It is incredible how much you gotta put into it, but it is worth the time and effort. RUN, it will make your body feel better( trust me i feel like i am born again every time i go running). Until then, later.
