I agree on the RAM. Never buy more than the minimum of RAM possible. The computer makers always overprice it, and sticking in RAM is the easiest possible hardware upgrade.
Keep an eye on good deal sites.. dealhack, xpbargain, slickdeals, newegg... And you'll save enough cash to buy yourself a new game (or 5, thru the Orange box).
