Crocs aren't as common around these parts as Chacos or Tevas, say. The problem with wearing a shoe like Crocs in the PacNW, where it rains a lot, is that their classic model has holes in it that allow water into the shoe. Most of the people I know who wear them are people like my SO's aunt, a hairstylist. She stands on her feet all day and wants a comfy shoe.
