I was down in Houston back around Sept 24, and went to the Apple Store (what with the dollar being on par with the American buck and only 8% sales tax... why wouldn't I?) to check out the nano.
that is when I took the Touch out on a test run. I fell in love with it immediately, and I'm not an Apple kind of guy. Very slim, 4gb only 299 ($US - which was about 290 $CAN). These are selling for $329 here in Toronto - do they think we are stupid?? I told the guy in Best Buy here to match the price in the US, or I'm not going to buy it.
The best thing about this is the free internet wifi access, which the iphone already has. But this device is a lot thinner. The gui is exceptional. I say for the relatively cheap cost, go ahead and buy it. the reason that I wouldn't get the iPhone is because of the subscription costs. I'd rather buy the mp3 player and be done with incremental costs.
