See...way back when I was a cavalier young rake (back when we had to kill mastodons for clothing), the more notches on your bedpost the better. My number was rather...low. Of course now, when it's no longer cool to have numbers in the double digits...guess what? So, the moral of this little tale is; Bill ain't cut out to be cool. The planetary alignment, and popular convention is just to against it.
