I didn't say anything about one-night stands.
Men are far more visually stimulated than women are. Men put a whole lot of stock in looks. It's really no more complicated than that. Hot and dumb-as-a-rock will get you farther than average-but-sweet. No, it's not true
ALL the time, but it is true on average. Similiarly, women state that they want a "nice guy" but often go chasing after the guy who's the exact opposite of what they claim to want.
