As a craftsman if someone asks me to do something I know won't work, I don't do it. If you really want me to use solid wire to weld up this rig floor because its faster, go somewhere else, its MY reputation thats gonna be fucked when the weld fails and someone falls, possibly to their death. Now, thats just a drilling rig floor after some idiot gets a little frisky with the hydraulics and crushed the floor with a double stack of casing.
Don't build a weapon that wont work, Or a critical weapon component (a magazine isnt a freaking grip panel, mag doesnt work you've got a lump of metal) that will fail leaving someone without the tool(s) critical to preserving their life and or the lives of others.
Yes I'm talking to YOU Century Arms, Checkmate, Hi-Point, Glock (its a fucking RECALL, not a product update) et al.
I like my 92 kinda. Its a tack driver, no doubt about it. I'd never carry such a thing tho, I believe if was the late great Jeff Cooper who said something along the lines of, "I'd rather have a hatchet then a 9mm at intimate distances."
I'm not happy about the goddamn plastic parts on the fucking thing tho. My brother bought it after he got out of the hospital to complete the Martin riggs look he was sporting.
The damn thing is pretty hard to have a oopsie with tho, which is prolly a good thing.... I kinda treat mine like a .22 not practical for much, but cheap fun.

Um, thats cause it doesnt lock into battery, its straight blowback....
and Cromp I'm not sold on the 5.7
Did a lot of insurgents wear kevlar in Iraq? Thats really what the 5.7 is for, is it not? We need a bigger bullet. For the love of christ, I'm even willing to compromise and adopt the .40 short and weak for the capacity nuts out there
But why even do that? Springfield has a 13rd .45, Fn is coming out with a 14 round .45 the XD is smaller than the M9, and the FN appears to be as well.
Wtf
