Whoa, forgot about my last post here!
Thanks, StanT and Deltona, for your honest answers. It's not as if I thought parents went around secretly hiding pedophile behaviors, but I just wondered if parents ever had to sort of push away weird thoughts that might crop up when they see their own children naked, y'know? (Come to think of it, I think I got it from this Icelandic novel I read a long time ago... some strange incestuous thoughts that the father had to deal with, never acting on... so you can blame that for putting the idea in my head.)
But I guess I was still curious about the link to pre-pubescence, etc. so thanks for answering and clearing that up for me!
