I dunno about Diablo 3, but there is a game coming out called Hallgate London from the creators of Diablo. Blizzard didnt want to make it or something so the guys struck out on their owna nd are throwing it together themselves. Its supposed to play like Diablo. I'm still waiting for my Beta application to be accepted.
As for the systems.. go 360. The Wii games are fun and all but the 360 is probably the better system. The graphics are lots better, and the game selection on the 360 is better for the "hardcore" gamer. Wii is good for party games and Zelda, but thats about it tbh.
There are the old nintendo console games downloadable for Wii. So if that strikes a cord with you then go for that. 360 has some console games downloadable but i dont think there are as many as wii and you wont find nintendo ones with 360.
