What the fuck is "yEnc"? Seems like every movie out there is encoded like this, and I don't have the software to decode any of them. How do I read these files?

yEnc is an encription devise used by many of the uploaders to make it so that their matterial cannot be automatically downloaded and scanned for copywrite violations. If you are using Outlook Express (and most of the other newsgroup programs) to view newsgroups you will not be able to download and view these files because they are not supported. You can, however, download programs that with filter and decypher the files on the fly, between the newsgroup and Outlook Express. I recommend checking out yProxy. It is easy to set up and even easier to use.

A) 50+ gig, I dont really keep track until I run out of HD space
B) pics, movies, ect. the usual suspects. Most renamed with dif file extensions so that they cannot be readily viewed.
C) All on a single HD under serveral sub-directory, all hiden of course. Mostly spread throught the windows operating system so they do not raise eyebrows. Im a collector too so hardly anything ever get erased unless it gets totally old.
