Varrybarry, nonsmokers today (most) are fucking crazy, and not just for that reason. You'll quit when you're ready, and when you're ready, it'll be relatively easy. I'm almost 6 months without a smoke. It's liberating, fun, and makes me appreciate not smoking.
I'll never consider myself a non-smoker though. You smoke 'em up and quit whenever you're good and ready. Piss as many non-smokers off as you can in the meantime. They'll yell and scream but as much as they wish it weren't true, you're smoking within 20 yards of them isn't taking time off of their lives.
