Hmmm, interesting thread. Now that I'm here posting something I can't think of any hot scenes... Although I have watched the Unfaithful banging scene many many times over... I do love it.

I'm trying to think of a movie or two where you actually cared about the characters before they had their love scene, and the movie built up to the scene and made it an important part of the plot, not just an obligatory screw on the side. I think Halle Berry's scene with Billy Bob Thornton was a good example of an important sex scene. It was not just crucial to the plot, it was raw, and engaging, and hot...
